The 31th annual induction Ceremony was held on September 17, 2023 at the Zorah Shrine in Terre Haute, IN. Once again, we held this event in the fall rather than in the spring. Instead, we restarted the Picnic & Jam in the spring, and expect to hold the two events at a similar time in future years.

Kyle McArdell was the opening act, and provided the audience with some great music.

Brad Anderson and John Beeson were presented with the Akers/Grindle Award.

Presentation of Awards

The Akers/Grindle Award, the Hall's highest award, was given to John Beeson and Brad Anderson. Both men were given the award for their outstanding service to the Hall, and both played an important part in helping the Hall grow into the organization that it is today, going above and beyond in their service.

John was among the musicians who helped Alva Grindle to restart the Hall of Fame in 2005, and is currently the longest serving member of the Board of Directors. Brad served on the Board of Directors from 2009 to 2022, and still assists the Hall when needed.
