Musical Career
John played guitar and keyboards for many popular Wabash Valley bands, including Autumn, P.J. Rocken, Network and Old School. He currently performs with Dicky James and the Blue Flames, and The Rhythm Relics.
Memorable Moments
He recorded two albums with Dicky James and the Blue Flames, with the second album reaching number 1 on the Internet blues charts.
Hall of Fame
John was inducted into the Hall as part of the Class of 2007, but served the Hall well before then. He was part of the original Board formed by Alva Grindle when the Hall of Fame was restarted in 2005/06, and continues to serve today. He was appointed to the office of Vice-Chair in 2008. He was offically elected to the position of Vice Chair in 2010, and re-elected in 2012 and 2014. He declined to run again in 2016.
